How to Make a Delicious Stromboli!
Most people don't know what a stromboli is where I'm from, but it's a very popular meal to the northern states. It's sort of like a pizza, but different in a few ways. One similarity with pizza that it shares: It's DELICIOUS! (:
I'll show you how I make it!
Ingredients:
one can of pizza dough
small jar of pizza sauce
mozzarella cheese
provolone cheese
deli ham
hard salami
pepperoni
oregano, or Italian seasoning
salt
Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking/cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
2. Roll out dough on aluminum foil and spoon some pizza sauce onto that baby.
3. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over top of it.
4. Add slices of ham.
5. Place slices of provolone on top of ham. Add the hard salami on top of those slices of provolone.
6. Sprinkle more mozzarella over the salami and add pepperonis.
7. Roll the 'boli up and flip it over.
8. Slice tiny slices in the top of the stromboli to allow steam to escape while cooking.
9. Sprinkle oregano or Italian seasoning and salt over the top.
10. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
